Personal Message from Dr. Bauer Since opening my office here in San Jose in 2003, a lot of wonderful and exciting things have occurred in my life personally and professionally. My daughter, Rachel, was born in April of 2004 and I am expecting the arrival of a baby boy in May 2007. The reality of being a mother of two has not quite set in yet. However, the joy of parenthood far outweighs the challenges. I've joked with patients that my "day job" seems like a hobby compared to the "real work" of parenting. I will also be celebrating my 5th wedding anniversary this year.I am now in my 11th year of private practice and am continuing to enjoy this very rewarding profession. I have been so blessed with meeting such wonderful people in the area. My husband and I love the fact that we also live in this community. Another great blessing that I frequently reflect upon is my amazing assistant, Janet, who has worked with me since 1996. Her joyful demeanor and professionalism has allowed me to deliver the best care to my patients. I've enjoyed my volunteer partnerships with Sacred Heart, Emergency Housing Consortium, and the Santa Clara Dental Society where I have been given the opportunity to provide free dental care to those less fortunate. Giving back to the community by restoring smiles gives me great joy and a sense of purpose. I look forward to continuing these relationships for many years to come. I would like to say "Thank You" to all my patients for making my job so enjoyable and to future patients- I am looking forward to meeting you! Wishing you health, happiness, peace and joy in 2007! |
